As many of you may know, in the wake of the horrendous earthquake that struck Haiti this past January, the company from which we purchase our sun ovens--Sun Ovens International-- partnered up with the Friends of Haiti Organization to send sun ovens paired with cooking pots and water purification indicators to the people of Haiti. We are gratified that the generous donations of our friends in Klamath Falls enabled us to send FIVE SUN OVEN SETS to people in Haiti who desperately need ways to cook food that do not require power or the cutting down of trees.
